Learning to drive in Dyserth
Dyserth is our home village, so it is the area we know best. It sits at the foot of the Clwydian hills, which gives it something most of our other areas do not have: genuinely steep gradients right in the middle of the village.
For a learner that is useful rather than intimidating. Hill starts, clutch control and holding a car on a slope are the things that most often unsettle people on test day, and Dyserth lets you practise them repeatedly without driving anywhere special to find a hill.
From Dyserth the roads open out quickly towards Rhuddlan and St Asaph, so lessons can move from slow, technical village driving to faster open road work inside the same hour.
