Kinmel Bay sits across the River Clwyd from Rhyl, connected by the Foryd Bridge. That crossing is part of everyday driving here, and it puts Rhyl test centre within a few minutes of most pickups.

The area runs along the A548 coast road, so learners get a steady mix of residential streets and busier through traffic. Like the rest of this coastline, the summer season brings a noticeable lift in traffic volume, which is genuinely useful experience to have before a test.
